Lime Cay Jamaica is a white sand beach on an island offshore the Kingston Harbour. On this tour, you will take a boat ride out to the island to swim, snorkel, sunbathe and have fun.
Lime Cay Jamaica is a small island located roughly a 15-minute boat ride off Port Royal. Uninhabitable by most animals due to the rising and falling tides that sometimes cover the entire island (at nights), it is a popular hot spot for a beach day, especially in Kingston. Clear blue seas surround this white sand beach but be warned there are no bathrooms, bars or utilities on the island, so you will have to take your own refreshments with you and handle your business before heading over.
My Jamaican Tour Guide will pick you up, and take you to Port Royal to board the boat to cross the sea and go to the island. Depending on the add-on/upgrades you select, we can provide you with refreshments, snorkel equipment, beach supplies, and more.
Cancel this tour 7 or more days before the tour date and you will receive a 100 percent refund
Any cancellations done after 7 days before the date of your tour will be NON-REFUNDABLE
You will be transferred from your hotel to Y Knot bar in Port Royal, where you will embark on a boat and be ferried safely to Lime Cay Beach. You purchase the boat ticket at the bar. We will check availability on your tour date. While booking your tour you can opt for many upgrades such as a cooler with refreshments, snorkeling gear, a beach ball, towels, umbrellas and more to have even more fun on your trip. You may also opt to stop at Gloria’s Rendezvous after your tour for some delicious seafood lunch.
During your Lime Cay Jamaica tour, you can spend up to 4 hours on the island. During weekdays, it may be possible that you will have the island to yourself, as it is not typically busy at this time. Weekends are normally busy, with locals and international travelers alike enjoying the island.

Yes! The Jamaican Coast Guard is stationed not far from Lime Cay, and they monitor and patrol the waters. The water is nice and warm and shark-free, and excellent to swim in. You will be given a life jacket on the boat ride to and from the island.

You can book the tour as a solo traveller, or as a group of up to 60! The more people in your group, the bigger the discount you will receive.
Yes. We work with official operators who send boats out to Lime Cay. These are not the small canoes or fishing boats that can capsize, but rather larger boats that are much more secure.
The cost includes round-trip transportation, as well as the boat ride fee to and from the island. During booking you can include add-ons such as a stop to eat lunch, refreshment pack, beach equipment rentals, or additional tours.
This depends on you. We recommend two to four hours max on the island.
You can swim, scuba, sunbathe, picnic, and more on the island.

We spent a total of two weeks in Jamaica, and the days in Kingston with My Jamaican Tour Guide was the best time ever!
Jomo and his driver Dwayne took us to see the most parts of Kingston, shopping malls, markets, the Port Royal and we also drove thru the ghetto, New Kingston and by the Bob Marley museum.
Jomo’s Mother, Mrs. Barnett served us homecooked Jamaican cuisine. She is a lovely lady.
The Bacchanal party was a blast! We were dancing for several hours to the soca music. Jamaicans can really party, and dance!
We meet Jomo on his internet site and he gave us a really nice time in Kingston and showed us the whole Kingston with his driver Dwayne.
We wouldn’t have been able to see as much as we did if it weren’t for those two guys.
I strongly recommend Jomo for your guide to visit Jamaica and Kingston.
