You will get to view the history and philosophy of his music and watch a movie of compilations from the singer’s life. View his gold and platinum records on the walls, as well as many of the awards he has amassed over the years.

Other items on display are the Order of Merit awarded to him by the Jamaican government, his favorite clothes and a room showing media clippings of his life. Tour his bedroom, which is preserved in an exact manner that he left it in.

The tour itself lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes, and you may spend as much time as needed afterward browsing the gift shop or having a bite at the cafe.

No photos can be taken inside the museum. You are however allowed to take pictures outside of the museum, such as the entrance and the yard.

We meet Jomo on his internet site and he gave us a really nice time in Kingston and showed us the whole Kingston with his driver Dwayne. We wouldn’t have been able to see as much as we did if it weren’t for those two guys. I strongly recommend Jomo for your guide to visit Jamaica and Kingston.
